Find Your Beach

As part of the team behind Corona’s iconic “Find Your Beach” rebrand, I helped lead the charge in transforming the brand from a beach-specific beer to a lifestyle symbol that resonated with a much broader audience. For years, Corona had been seen solely as the beer you drank on the beach. Our mission was to break free from that narrow perception and reposition Corona as a beer for moments of relaxation, anywhere. Whether you're at the beach, golfing, snowboarding, or just unwinding at home.

We dove deep into understanding the emotional connection consumers had with the brand. We knew that Corona wasn’t just a beer; it was a gateway to a "beach state of mind,” a place of calm and escape. By redefining the brand’s core messaging and expanding its narrative beyond a physical location, we helped Corona shift its image to one of relaxation and enjoyment, no matter where you were.

The campaign was an instant success, and often referenced in marketing classes as Best in Class. It not only captured the attention of traditional beer drinkers but also connected with a new generation of consumers. By focusing on Corona’s deeper emotional appeal, we elevated the brand into mainstream culture. The campaign played a critical role in helping Corona maintain the position as number one imported beer in America, a title it held for many years after. Our work on “Find Your Beach” helped solidify Corona’s leadership in the beer market, setting the stage for future success.
