As part of the team behind Corona’s iconic “Find Your Beach” rebrand, I helped lead the charge in transforming the brand from a beach-specific beer to a lifestyle symbol that resonated with a much broader audience. For years, Corona had been seen solely as the beer you drank on the beach. Our mission was to break free from that narrow perception and reposition Corona as a beer for moments of relaxation, anywhere. Whether you're at the beach, golfing, snowboarding, tailgating or at a club.
Focusing on the consumer’s emotional connection, we knew that Corona was a gateway to a "beach state of mind,” a place of calm and escape.
The campaign’s impact was massive, cementing Corona as a cultural touchstone associated with relaxation and enjoyment. “Find Your Beach” drove mainstream awareness, broadened the brand’s audience, and reinforced Corona’s position as the top imported beer in the U.S., illustrating how insight-driven creativity can transform perception and sustain market leadership over time.
